Don Mischer

Don Mischer is an internationally recognized producer and director of television and live events who has been honored with fifteen Emmy Awards, a record nine Directors Guild of America Awards for Outstanding Directorial Achievement, two NAACP Image Awards, a Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting, and Europe’s prestigious Golden Rose of Montreux.

Don’s producer/director credits range from the Opening Ceremony of the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai, China, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Salt Lake Winter Olympic Games and Atlanta Summer Olympic Games, and We Are One: the Obama Inaugural Concert at the Lincoln Memorial, to the Kennedy Center Honors, the 100th Anniversary of Carnegie Hall, to Motown 25, the Presidential Inaugural Gala, Barbra Streisand’s Millennium Concert in Las Vegas, Disney Paris Opening, and Super Bowl Halftime Shows with Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Prince, and Bruce Springsteen.

Among his many events, Mischer also has produced specials with Bono, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Sting, Yo Yo Ma, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, the Black eyed Peas, Jennifer Hudson and Gregory Hines.
