Mary Gu
Ms. Gu currently is the president of Shanghai Corporate Pavilion, Special Assistant to Chairman of Shanghai Guo Sheng Group. She also serves as the Managing Director of Shanghai Golden Grand Prix Co. Ltd.
She served as Vice President, 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Executive Committee, Director of Public Relations and Deputy Director of Large Scale Events for 2007 Special Olympics World Games Steering Committee, president of 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Opening Ceremony production service company. During her tenure with 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games, she led a team to successfully raise fund for the games which has exceeded any fundraising efforts of previous world games. She also worked as Co-Executive Producer for internationally acclaimed live events and TV specials directors and executive producers, multiple Emmy award winners Don Mischer and David Goldberg, to successfully produce the opening ceremony which was broadcasted live on five channels on China Central Television and various international TV networks.
Ms. Gu previously held senior positions in many luxury hotel brands including Ritz-Carlton and Shangri-La. She was most recently Director of Government Relations at Ritz-Carlton. In 2008, she was named as one of the 20 icon Chinese women by French life style magazine ELLE for her work on 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
